    Hi yellow1912,

I am trying to install SSU and am getting stuck on the initial Module Manager install. After transferring all files over successfully (I verified that each file is where it should be), and browsing to /mysitepath/html/shop/admin/module_manager.php I get the error messages.

    ------------

Warning: file(/mysitepath/html/shop/includes/module_installation/install.sql) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mysitepate/html/shop/admin/includes/classes/module_installer.php on line 201
.submit_link { color: #0000ff; background-color: transparent; text-decoration: none; border: none; } Error: Nothing to do - no query or query-file specified. Failed to set up version tracker table

Basic Functions List all modules: Click here
Install new modules: Click here Render error, file not found(/mysitepath/html/shop/includes/templates/templates/module_manager/tpl_index.php)

    -----------------

I've FTPed the files over properly so not sure what's going on. Looked for the referenced files and they are there.

I'm totally stumped...any ideas? Is the module manager truly required for SSU?

Hope I can work through this problem since I'm very excited for your mod. Thanks in advance for your help.

Figured it out...had DIR_FS_ADMIN incorrectly set in my admin/includes/configure.php file. Corrected that and all is good. On to SSU install!

Version 3.6.6 is released, this version is a "maintenance" version, which contains minor bug fixes and no new feature. While it is recommended to upgrade, it is not critical.

Bug fixed: cache folder(s) permission: there is a bug in the cache class that causes the new cache folders to be created with insufficient permission (644 for example) on some servers.

After upgrading the new version, please go to admin->extra->ssu manager and run "Check and fix cache", depending on the number of cache files and folders on your site it may take several minutes. If the operation times out, just run it again, it will pick up where it left off.

Benefit of upgrading to this version: if this bug affects your server, it will prevent SSU to utilize caching properly, and thus may run more sql queries that it should (since it can't read from cached files). This fix will help with that.

I believe when I helped you to fix the site, I already put the fix in for you. But this upgrade involves uploading files only, so it should take just a few minutes, do it if you have the time. It can only help.

    Yellow,
My control panel says my host is currently running PHP 4.4.9. I have the option to "activate" PHP5, however it still display as 4.4.9 and it backs up my .htaccess files for some reason.

Is there really a problem with installing this module using PHP 4.4.9?

You can only run the new version of this module on php5.
You can run 2.9.6 on php4.

I would recommend upgrading to php5 though, since the new version of Zen will only support php5 anyway. Contact your host to see what's going on, but usually they would use .htaccess to turn on the php5 "switch".
