i try to make completly new instalation of zen, but when i instal zen i get the error mesage (include_once('includes/config_sites/sites_switch.php'); define('CATEGORIES_ROOT','21'); //root categories is 21 for this site are not in config file).

when i add this code to includes/configure.php and try to visit shop, i get instalation page of zen cart and i dont know how to fix this. db info on config files is ok, admin going ok but shop part dont work.

or i must add the db info into each config file for each domain?

Please can anyone tell me how to alter the credit card processing to use a different Authorize.net account. As I am using the multisite module to run 2 separate businesses and the credit card processing company tell me I need to have a separate account for any new type of transaction (aka if I open an account selling health products and I want to also take creditcard charges for consulting I have to open a separate account. But I still want to use my single multisite setup to run both businesses, so does anyone know how I could alter the program to detect which site the transactions coming from and send the charge though the appropriately linked authorize net account?

The thing is I have to manually charge each card through my second Authorize.net account because I cant figure out how to merge the new account into the zencart multisite system. Any assistance with this would be much appreciated.

i delete all files and db and then make total new instalation of zen and multishop and it going. but i have big problem with themes:

when i set up some category with any product i dont see midle and right bar. but when i set up category without products theme going good. this problem start when i reset the boxes and i dont know why

I have a simple question: How do I turn off the category filter?
I placed this line in my site config and it does not seem to do anything:

define('SHOW_CATEGORIES_ALWAYS','1');

I hoped the switch would fix this issue?

I fixed the issue I was having with the categories by replacing the modified files with the original files. The site seems to work fine without them. I am still running into issues with the templates but will ask for help if I cannot figure it out. AWESEOME addon THANKS!!

I cannot get the templates to work and all my sideboxes are missing!! Here are my sites: http://www.lullabynow.com and www.ebookkb.com These are just test sites for my major site I am trying to get this working on. I have followed all the directions and the missing ones but still cannot get my sideboxes to show up. What could I be missing?

You have probably the same problem like me. but your lullabynow.com going good, and all my shops dont working.
i dont know why, but when i reset boxes via tools-layout boxes controller where i select theme for any domain i have problem.

Hi, apologies for posting but I've searched through virtually every post in this thread but can't seem to find an answer to my particualr problem.

I'm running a new installation of ZC1.38 and have managed to get 3 sites working from a template and sub-domain point of view. These are:

http://outbacksafari.dominicanrepublicexcursions.com
http://hitchddr.dominicanrepublicexcursions.com

But, even though I have set up the categories correctly with the <!--site name--> for each category I can only see the same category on ALL THREE SITES.

In addtion I've had to disable the categories side box as I can only see the header of each site if this box is turned on.

I'm sure theres some simple explanation to this, but its driving me mad :-)

Any advice would be most appreciated....

After another "wonderful" afternoon trying to get my head around this, I've actually found that each site_config file doesn't actually work, even though they are configured as per the instructions. I REALLY need a fresh pair of eyes to look at this guys........so if anyone feels like a challenge (and I'm sure it'll take someone apart 10 secs to resolve!), I'm happy to give someone admin access/ftp access etc and pay them for their time......its actually got to the stage where I simply need a small nudge in the right direction and I'll be fine........
So if anyone wants to make a few bucks (payable via PayPal) PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP :-)
