Order Status

When I check my orders I have a drop downbox in the bottom of the order that says Status I have 4 choices

Pending, Processing, Delivered, Update...

Id like to add "Shipped" to it

I searched teh faq area but couldnt find it.

Well, you could add "shipped" to it, but it would be easier to just use one of the of the words already there, by just changing the word itself, if there's one of them that you don't use....??

Just trying to save you a lot of extra coding, as I THINK it would take to add something in that area.

DrByte might tell you an easier way, as he knows all the coding in ZC.

This is the technique I use:

1. admin panel/ localization/ order status
2. Change Delivered to: Shipped
3. When a customers order in the admin panel/ orders/ edit the customer
4. You will place a comment in the comment section, "Any thing you like" Bottom left hand side
5. Right below it change Status dropdown to shipped
6. Click update
7. This will fire an email to the customer, that the order is shipped.

I had two customers ask about that as they thought it was Delivered to them already. I had to explain that it was just Shipped out.

The term (delivered) I feel is not really the best way to discribe this proccess. How can We can tell the customer that their order has been already Delivered to their door.

This should be changed or at least add an option for tha reason.
