Simple SEO URL (OLD version) [support thread]

Most ppl encounter the problem because they did not spend the time reading the instruction:

On the requirements list you will see:

Module Manager installed (please make sure this module is installed, or you will run into errors)

So when I go through the Manufacturer drop down and then click on one of the products, it just keeps looping showing all products by the manufacturer it doesn't actually go to the product.

However if I go through the categories and not through manufacturer drop down it all works fine.

Any ideas?

Make sure your version is latest (at least 3.6.6, better is 3.6.7)

Hello,

Just wondering, will this module affect any javascript files? Is it compatible with Ajax Banner Swapper and Tabbed Products Pro? Ajax Banner Swapper stopped working and I get errors in my error log regarding Tabbed Products Pro after installing Ceon URI Mapping so was just wondering if it might happen with this mod as well?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

We have recently installed Zencart latest version and I wanted to add SSU.

Have installed Module Manager followed by the latest SSU from your website as per the instructions and it appears to be working OK in the Admin section (no errors) and generating the new URLs. However I get a 404 error as soon as I try to link to any of the pages.

I have read through the posts on this thread and saw the one about the mod_rewrite/.htaccess being the only possible causes of the error. I have checked with our hosting person and he advises me that mod_rewrite is definitely on.

Zencart is in a folder called /shop - I have added the .htaccess file that came with the SSU download to the shop folder. The .htaccess file in the root folder was empty, so I have tried adding it there too.

I have compared the .htaccess file I uploaded with the example you posted in the abovementioned post, I can see only one difference and that is an 'L' at the end of the last rule.

I have had to disable SSU through the admin so I can work on the site today.

Is there anything else you can think of that I could have missed?

Did you check your_site.com/ssu_check.php for the htaccess content suggestion?

I have not run into any problem with this module concerning javascript issues, and i have not seen anyone report it so far.

hi...I am extremely new in zencart. I have install QBI pro 2007 and I have installed the QBI in the zencart but I don't know how to integrate the QBI with zencart ? If you please help me....then it will be much easier for me to go ahead.
