search field at main page error

hey all,
i'm getting instead of search button and search field a code string.
how can i fix this?

While you were doing your file edits, you took notes (didn't you... ?)

Go back over your notes to see what Define Statements you edited regarding the search feature, or what else you may have done to the search functionality...

... then revert to original (you did back up files before you edited them, right...?)...

... and try again...

well, it didn't happen because of me. it just happened when installed zen on my PC with zen 1.3.8a

Then when you loaded the program, one (or more) files got corrupted along the way.

If zencart is successfully loaded and installed, it all works as it should. If it does not work immediately after loading and installing it, then 100% the problem is not with the software - it's always because of server configuration conflicts, corrupted files being uploaded, files not being loaded at all, not following install instructions.
