Hey countrycharm, my feeder was working perfectly until i added some new products ?
when i have gzip enabled, i get a blank screen then a 404 error when its done.
running the debug without gzip shows no errors, again it just 'stops'
it ran fine processing 18k products, but now we have around 32k and it's not doing the job..?
you gave me the google_base.php file for /includes/classes and it worked great.. it was from 1.7.0a
i think the sanitizer is still a bit sensitive any suggestions?
Finally it is saying that 332 items were "processed" and "inserted" successfully, but what I don't understand is that when I check out the "active items" it only show 146.
Never did get a confirmation via email like I usually do either.
Google changed the terms again, now there are new fields required, the problem is if anyone knows how to modify the module in order to reflect those changes or at least where to look.
It seems that now the 'condition' attribute is required ...
This info was sent to me by Google. We'd like to let you know about an important change we're making to the Product Search data feed requirements. As you know, you can help shoppers find your products by including high quality, frequently updated product information in the form of attributes. In order to provide shoppers with the most useful information, we'll be making the "condition" attribute required starting on June 30th, 2009.
In order to keep your feeds active past this date, please remember to include the "condition" attribute for all of your items if you're not already doing so. Please include one of three values to describe your product: new, used, or refurbished.
For more information on formatting the condition attribute, please visit http://base.google.com/support/bin/a...&answer=148684
In addition to making the "condition" attribute required, we've made some other changes to our attributes:
Recommended: "product type"
The "product type" attribute allows you to specify a product category for each item. We recommend that you use our product taxonomy, however, you are welcome to use your own categories. For more information, please visit: http://base.google.com/support/bin/a...n&answer=66818
Go to where you upload the data feed in Google Base. Where it says Success click on details and you will see why all your item was not process. You may have problems in the feed and thats why they didn't insert all of them even if they said 332 items were "processed" and "inserted" successfully
Is your site Upgraded to the current version 1.5.4 Yet?

It already does this no update needed. In order to keep your feeds active past this date, please remember to include the "condition" attribute for all of your items if you're not already doing so. Please include one of three values to describe your product: new, used, or refurbished.

Perhaps this is a silly question but I don't see when I add a product where is ASKS me the condition (new, used, etc). How does the mod do it automatically if I don't put that info in? Is "new" a default?
The condition attribute settings are in the configuration.. i'm not too sure how you would do it individually..
The answer is in the reply above yours. :-)
The option for 'condition' is in the configuration. You cannot set it 'per product' using this mod. You'd have to edit the xml file manually.
