Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

Just tried the uninstall patch and it worked. No more "zen lightbox" menu in admin>configuration. But i need it to work properly. Please tell me how can i make the install.sql work?

I opened up phpMyAdmin, selected my stores data base, in my case electro_zc2, on the left hand side list i selected zen_configuration_group, then ticked the configuration_group_id box, clicked the SQL tab on the top menu, then pasted in the code over everything that was in that box, then clicked GO. It applied successfully. Thanks guys.

first go thru your server files and make sure that there are no lightbox files in there at all. The uninstall may just remove the database entries and not the files...it has been a while so I forget.

open up the zip to get the files, then go to each one listed in there and get rid of the lightbox files living on the server. If you had the previous version installed this will totally get rid of it too.

Once you get them all out of there then upload the contents of the zip into the right spots again.

Then go to Myphpadmin and choose the stores table....not just the section in the table but the entire table
---click the tab labeled SQL
---copy/paste the file I will insert here into the window then hit GO

It should work...I hope...I think I got the tables name right

Disregard the text in the code box...it is wrong

I finallly found my post of what to change and here it is again:

this is the main first section of the sql installer file:

Change yours to be the table prefix where the words are red. then "save as" your file as "install2.sql" without the quotation marks so that you know it is the doctored file.

MyPhP Admin is the area where the databases are located..like if your server has C-Panel for access to your databases...myphpadmin is the actual place you insert the sql code into. I forget others may not have this in their controls.

Hopefully I don't confuse you for I do that part very well. I am learning code very slowly just by fixing things in the items we are given or redesigning themes for my own forums and the ones I handle.

I gave it a go a still the same error 1146.

MyPhP Admin is the area where the databases are located..like if your server has C-Panel for access to your databases...myphpadmin is the actual place you insert the sql code into. I forget others may not have this in their controls.

IS this the "Tools/Install SQL Patches area" in my zencart admin?

in the zip you opened to get the lightbox fiels to upload is the uninstall.sql

just copy-paste it into the sql part of your database...click go and that will remove the table info

then do the sql again for the lightbox that i inserted in my post above and keep our fingers crossed.
