ozpost shipping module

Hi,

I would like to remove the 'days est delivery' from the ozpost shipping module where it appears in the cart.

At the moment it reads '...3 3 days Est Delivery'

Just so you know I live in a rural town and the estimated delivery says 3 days when the address is to a capital city but 7 days when the address is in a near by town. I have the post code set so I assume it has more to do with Australia Post and their estimated delivery for city post codes.

I don't want to make it work, I just want to remove the words.

In case you need to know I have the new version of Ozpost and Zencart 1.3.8

In the shipping module admin settings you'll see a setting for
"Postage Delay". Set this to a negative number and that will suppress the display.

I have installed the module, it all seemed to go fine. I'm able to install it in the shipping page of admin and select all the setting i would like, and the products page has changed so that i can enter the item dimensions.

The problem is that the ozpost is not available as a shipping option when a customer tries to processing an order. I have disabled all other shipping methods.

Another problem is that on the displayed product page it is still showing the weight of the item in lbs rather than grams which is what i set in the ozpost settings.

I just have no idea what it could be.

The problem is that the ozpost is not available as a shipping option when a customer tries to processing an order. I have disabled all other shipping methods.

The ozpost module works perfectly well alongside other shipping methods.

I suggest that you temporarily enable the 'debug' option from the ozpost admin settings. That should provide some useful information to help identify your problem.

The 'lbs' that you are seeing is a display thing only (the module itself will calculate based on gms or kgs).

To change the display you'll need to edit the english.php files.
The exact details on how to do this have been covered in in a number of other threads.

I've been able to confirm that the data is valid and being sent to the server, and that the server is returning a valid XML response.

The following link (taken from the server logfile in response to the quote request) will show what the server is returning back to your store.

Although it doesn't help much in itself, it suggests one of two possible causes of your problem.

1. This is the most likely... your server isn't using php5 (I still need to put this requirement in the docs).

Most ISP's and servers offer php5 these days, although many leave it for the user to choose whether they want php4 or php5.

2. Not very likely... You don't have any methods selected that match the quotes given.

No doubt this is why it's not working for my customer as well. You really should update the documentation, something like that is pretty important and not particularly obvious.

I have been (and still am) too busy to update the doc, repackage the zip file and submit it.

No reason why you can't do it if you feel so strongly about it though. :-)

Ozpost is working great.

Quick question, where can I change "Aussie Post" that appears on the confirmation order email. I want to change it to "Postage" or "Freight".

So it would be show; Postage (Registered Parcel).
