Hi everyone,
I have installed News & Article Management.
I have made the necessary mods, I have uploaded the files, I have installed the SQL patch, but:
1, it doen not appear in the Configuration Group, I have checked the database, is there.
2, I have installed Admin Profiles from Kuroi which works fine with the other modules but, when I set to give permissions to use the NAM the Admin does not keep the "choice"

Does anyone have any idea, can you help?

Thanks for whoom read this cry for help, I was going creazy but I managed to crack it.
I received an email from the zc experts with a very important security update: security_patch_v138_20090619, I installed it, there was no response from the zc system so I left it, thinking everything was ok, I found out lately that security patch interfers badly with Kuroi's Admin Profiles, I think is the file in the admin/includes/auto_loaders, anyway, I suggest to check and make shore everything works fine if you install that patch.
why is the result of the patch installation hidden?

Hi everyone,
can you help me this, because is probably to do with code, I am not good with it?
I have intalled News & Articles Man, seams to work fine but I can see 2 breadcrumbs line: http://www.annunciemart.it/index.php...e&article_id=1
Can you help how to get reed of the second breadcrumb line?

Anyhow thanks for your easy solution.

But seems that there is no code you mentioned above in my news_summary.php

what version are you using???

This - I searched my whole site's worth of code and I couldn't find any such define. I added the code anyhow, just in case my PC was misbehaving (searching can go weird sometimes) and the site is still showing me one summary. If anybody knows what aTecko was talking about, please speak up.

Hi since we run competitions through the news page we'd need to see commentators email address or customer number or something how we'd track him down! How could it be made if we require customer login! PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

I'm in the middle of fixing that myself for my page. Seems as though there's a conflict with the CSS involved in the news poster. What I can suggest is to make two columns in the main box like what I did. One column can be a image highlighting specials and deals while the other will post your news.

The following is based on the default installation:

I have this problem too where the header overlaps the title and I've seen it in a lot of other shops. I don't understnad the fix that was given above and I don't want to create 2 columns. Can anyone help me?

Hi,

Not sure if i should post here or on RSS feed! I have a problem with the validation of the RSS new feed which comes from the news and articles management.

The problem is to do with the administrators email:
Invalid email address: Administrator ([email protected]) I beve thi is because "administrator" is in the email tag. I tried removing administrator from admin but I couldn't due to the field requiring a name. Has anyone else seen this problem and fixed it?

I have solved it this way now M... Carbone, I have tagged the breadcrumb code in the Module files.
