I have same. Compared .js file with other sites wich use IH. Everything is identical but doesnt work. I'll give up.

First...I assume you are talking about the picture that appears at the very bottom right of your page.

I think the problem is that you have located that picture so low on the page that the when you hover the mouse over the picture, there is not enough space for the enlarged picture to show at the bottom of the page so it shows well above instead. Actually, I found that if I put the mouse only at the very top of that picture, a portion of the larger image does show up at the bottom of the page....So, one solution would be to move that image up higher on the page...or put extra spacing below it.

I recently took some new photos of some of my products and wanted to use that image as the main image. So I uploaded them and they appear fine but now the old images don't appear as additional images even though they have the same name. like this one.... http://kirwindesigns.com/store/index...products_id=35 . The additional images do work on my other products but when i put a new image up, it doesn't keep the other images. do i need to reload the other ones. The names of the file all start with YellowFlowerxxx.jpg

Do you have IH turned on?
Checking some of your products I see the images not being processed by IH.
Missing IH files also.

Nothing different except for the watermarks not showing and that you admittedly changed.
Why not try loading exactly the same watermarks to start isolating the issue?

Sorry for taking so long to reply - been slammed with work on other zencarts and having loads of problems.

Ok, There are no missing IH files on vintagegunleather.com - I did the upload of all files several times, just in case some didn't upload correctly, etc.

I admittedly changed the watermarks AFTER trying the originals several times. Watermarks still don't show, no matter what.

But now I have another problem. And, at this point, I can't tell if it's an IH or zencart problem. I had IH working just fine on oldtradingpost.com. The site has now been moved to a new server (same with vintagegunleather.com, but no additional images problem there) ... however, we can not add images at all.

The server errorlog, among other things, keeps saying that file doesn't exist: .../..../..../bmz_cache/a etc . I uploaded the complete bmz_cache folder when I moved the site (as I did with all the zencart sites I moved, but oldtradingpost.com is the only one with the problem.

I just reloaded all the IH files/folders, all files/folders have appropriate permissions, and yet, we can't upload images. "unable to load default image file" is the error in pink at the top of the admin page when we are trying to load images in the IH section of admin.

Here is the server error log file entry for my last attempt at adding an additional image just a moment ago:

The store works fine ... people are able to checkout just fine, etc. But I just don't understand why I can't upload images. Again, all appropriate files/folders have the necessary permissions.

I tried that Debug Error Logging Utility mentioned here in the forum, but there is never any new entry in the /cache/ file.

Does anyone have any idea of what may be wrong?

I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.8a, a new install, with the only add ons being the CSS Buttons, and Image Handler 2.

I found that as I in order to decrease loading time, I needed to go in and resize my images to three optimized sizes.

I followed the image preparation instructions, which were great, and tested it in 5 browsers.

In Foxfire, Opera, Safari, and Chrome the hover images pop up immediately, most either even with the image, or slightly below it.
In Chrome, the image appears more to the top of the page.
My biggest disappointment is in the most vastly used browser
Internet Explorer. Mine is IE8. The hover works very sporatically. I'd say 30% of the time! It would be easier to troubleshoot if it were either all or nothing!

I can run my mouse over an image for several minutes with no hover whatsoever. The next time, it may work.
It's set to hover on small image, and hot spot is set for the small as well.

Has anyone had this occur before? I'm not sure where to check next, as it appears the IH is working, but IE is not.

I decided to enlarge the image a little on the product info page when I noticed that the watermark is not showing on that page. It works on zoomed images and also on the enlarged image, but not there.

Not sure if it has been that way since day 1 or if it just started recently. Nothing has been changed in the images section and all options appear to be correct there.

I cannot find this problem mentioned in the thread but my eyes grow weak from reading so many possibile matches.

Hi,

I'm running Zen Cart 1.3.8a with Image Handler installed. A lot of my large images, really need to be .. um .. large. 900 px tall. Which does not make it easy for people using a small resolution screen. I wanted to add a scroll bar to the large pop up window. I modified /includes/modules/pages/product_info/jscript_main.php
in the hopes that would work. But no luck. Does anyone have an suggestions?

ETA: I fixed it! : I had saved a file in /includes/modules/YOUR-TEMPLATE/pages/product_info/jscript_main.php and it wasn't working.. I just modified the original file (bad idea I know) and it worked.

I didn't realize this thread is over 100 pages... really don't know where to look for an answer.

I added additional images via Admin > Image Handler 2 which works great but if you hover over the added images, there is no pop-up images and it shows 'javascript error' in bottom task bar of the browser.

Although everything works fine (even the enlargement of the added images) it's just annoying to know your page has an error..
