Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

anyone have anyideas why i have IH working on one site but dont on a sub domain and get this error??

I have the same problem, I recently moved hosts, I have no clue how to fix it, I have uninstalled and installed, cleared cache, going nuts trying to get images appearing, the 3 test images in Preview are blank, just the check pattern. Can someone suggest where I need to look to fix this mess please thank you.

Sorry guys to not be able to help much for the moment.
I don't know what you are "uninstalling-reinstalling".
Some files in the Optional Extras folder of the previous version cause funky behaviour.
Let's hope that the Zen Cart team moves fast with publishing the latest version, which has troubleshooting and restoration.
You don't need to do several reinstalls, use version published by yellow1912 instead, and make sure everything is in correct location.

This version has been thoroughly tested to work.
If you got in trouble with previous installations, I will shortly publish a fix for that in this thread.

The fact that your addon update in the downloads area has been activated DOES NOT warrant that ANY testing has been done with it. It simply means that the code has been briefly reviewed as being friendly and unlikely to contain trojans. IT DOES NOT WARRANT ANY CODING EXCELLENCE OR RELIABILITY OR VERIFICATION OF CLAIMS TO ANY FUNCTIONALITY.

Actually I was not the only one doing the testing.
By testing I mean that it works without problems on many live sites, and I also maintain that it is compatible out-of-the box with lightbox contributions.
As for the coding, it wasn't done by me, the main author is Tim Kroeger, as everybody knows.
Credit is given to every contributor in the readme.
Nobody has ever made a statement like "code excellence".
Sorry, doc, but I have been very humble in all this process, and don't quite understand the reason for your post.
The previous version has some serious flaws, and it was published without any comment by the Zen Cart team.
So why now?

Sorry to insist on this as I think that it is a truly useless discussion.
You should have added "by the Zen Cart team".
But, who in his right mind can misconstrue that when I wrote that it was tested, I meant "by the Zen Cart team"?
Contributors write all the time that their contributions have been tested for so and so version.
Does the Zen Cart team go after each and every one to clarify that it wasn't the Zen Cart team doing the testing?
Please, give me a break.
You state clearly that add-ons are installed at own risk, everybody knows that.
What does not make sense to me is to write an unnecessary post about a version that fixes problems.
We are all waiting anxiously for version 2.0, Doc, better focus on that.

However, in my Admin area I display the product image in my packing slip, the problem is the packing slip is pulling the image direct from the image location and not the image cache, and is that why the images are not being shown at their correct aspect ratio?

The images are just stretched to the size i've set as the size for images in the admin (140*140). In the store the images are the correct shape and obviously vary in size.

Can anyone help me, i've tried checking and comparing the code, but I can't figure it out.

How can I get the images on the packing slip to be the right shape and not a distorted square image.

Start another topic to get assistance on this.. The Packing Slip images are NOT managed by Image Handler..

Check for related topics in the forums.
DivaVocals is right, those images are not controlled by IH2.
Regarding code modifications, we have had rather bad experiences with that.
Anyway, this has nothing to do with IH2, so code modifications will not help.
