    Default New Products Empty

    I have this site up and running www.swimscape.com but when I click on New Products from the Home Menu it always shows there are no new products. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

    What is your setting in the Configuration ... Maximum Values ...
    New Product Listing - Limited to ...
    Limit the New Product Listing to
    0= All Products
    1= Current Month
    7= 7 Days
    14= 14 Days
    30= 30 Days
    60= 60 Days
    90= 90 Days
    120= 120 Days

    It is set to 1 Ajeh, but still no products show.

    No I don't, but I tried changing the setting to 60 and still nothing shows?

    Have you some products_id for new products and their products_date_added field ...

    Well I looked into the products table in the database, and most of the date added fields contain 0000-00-00 00:00:00. This can't be good, and is there a way to set the date added field to say 10-1-2009 so it will start working properly?

    Thanks a lot for your help I am a zen cart newb, but I managed to get it this far :)

    How are you adding all of your Products?

    Are you using the Zen Cart Admin or importing your data?

    I imported my data and those date fields were not imported correctly I now see. There must be a way to fix? The rest of the data is fine.

    I need a bit more info ...

    You said the "products_date_added was bad" ... but then you said "those fields" ... which fields are bad or are you meaning you just need the products_date_added fixed ...

    And if so, do you want ALL Products to have the same products_date_added field?
