custom Define page add-on (about_us)

here is a strange thing......I added a custom Define page and intalled the SQL patch with success. The custom page showed in Define Page Editor and the information side box like it should.

however it did not show in the Define Page Status and I could not figure out how to include the custom page to sitemap even when I added the codes to tpl_site_map.

Today I was trying to find how to turn off product images in shopping cart when BAMMMMM in Admin/Layout Settings the tag Site Map - About_Us asking if to add my custom page to the sitemap. I selected to be included but it still doesnt show. I dont understand how did it wind up in Lalyout Setting and not Define Pages Status like it should??????????????????

A Define Page does not require an SQL patch? Did you install a module of some kind that uses a custom define page?

I only used the About_Us add-on to create the custom page. When it would not show in Define Pages Status, I found a SQL in the forum that was suppose to force it into the sitemap.
