    Default Delete product broken after moving to new server

    Hi,

    My site has just been moved to a new server. all is fine except i cant delete a product in the admin. It click the delete button and it thinks for a second and returns me to the catagory but without deleting the product and no message.

    It's version 1.3.8. I have checked the php server info for anything weird but it looks pretty similar to an install on the same server that seems to be working fine. I also checked the file product.php file and a few others but they all seem origonal and the fact it's happened on a server shift it has to be something related.

    Does anyone have a tip on where to start looking or asking the host?

    1. Double-check EVERY file to make sure EVERYTHING transferred correctly. There are automated tools to help with that, such as winmerge. http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Obscure_Issues

    2. Check your file permissions are set as per installation instructions.

    It was shifted within the same hosting company by the hosting company. Another zencart is fine on the same server (only difference is it's on a static ip). On the site that is a problem all was fine before they shifted it but i am baffeled by what could be causing it as everything you have suggested looks fine to me (familiar novice). Thanks for your ideas.

    Just an update this was resolved by recreating the database. Dont ask me why or how but it seems the database was damaged when the host shifted the site. recreating it fixed it.
