Sorry if this is a duplicate response, but don't have time to read them all.
I applied Salemaker to my whole catalog, but had some random products that were not applying to. No other products had any other specials, sales or anything.
But, after performing the following (non-logical) procedures, the sale applied to each one. (happened by chance)
I edited the product and cancelled. Then I clicked on the Products Price Manager (round green icon with white dollar sign), then (without making any changes) clicked the Back browser button. Then I edited the product and cancelled again. And walla! The Sale applied! Yay!![]()
I had this problem also with sale price applying to some products and not others (seemingly randomly). As Ajeh has said a number of times through this thread, it turned out the problem was caused because some products had no master category id. Not sure why, perhaps something to do with an easy populate upload.
For me, the easiest way to fix was to go to the multiple category link manager (where you can link a product to more than one category - accessed when you copy a product). Right at the bottom of this screen is an option to reset the master category id for all products in that category. Once I did this for each category that I wanted to put on sale, problem solved.
cheers
Leah

This worked for me as well. (reset master categories).
Specifically our problem related to creating new products via Easy Populate. When this was done, the new products were ignored via Sale Maker. Resetting the master category solved this and now the sale is on all products in the category.

Thanks for the update ...
Sale Maker needs that master_categories_id to verify the Sale of a Product for those Category settings ...

How does product linking affect this?
All products are in one category and then copied to other categories. Placing one category on sale - not the master category - seems to have no effect.
