Auction Product Type

I'm using the zj Black Template, perhaps it is the problem, I'm on ZC 1.3.8 and I did the sql update, added the files including the 2 overwrite files after I made dup's of the originals.

I seem to be having some kind of layout or template problem, here is a text auction page I setup, anyone else run into this same problem?

Looks like your missing some of the language files.. far as layout, looks about right... The page was setup for the default zen template. If you need something different, then you'll have to change some of the css files to match your site colors and what not.

Looks like I've got the layout and text issues all fixed.

I'm having a 404 page not found error when you click on "Ask a Question" link (looks like I just need to fix the graphic for the link which is no big dea)l, but my main concern is that the ask a question section isn't working, anyone have this problem and have a solution?

You can find the ask a question mod in the free addon section of this site.... it's not part of the auction mod.

I tired 1.0a and nothing would appear when an auction item was selected, I got an empty blank template. I uninstalled the sql and installed the standard 1.0 sql and setup a new auction and it was back and working. Still doesn't have a proper button for Ask a Question and the Ask a Question link is still going to a 404 page.

Got it Dave, I installed the Ask a Question module, updated the button and all looks like its working fine. I am just having some minor issues with Auction Configuration missing from the Admin menu which I think I know the problem and its also affecting that my test auction isn't showing a Buy It Now Button, so I think I'll uninstall completely one last time and reinstall and I think everything should be okay. Thanks.

I'm getting the 1062 dup key 2 error as well from a clean install on 1.3.8.a using the SQL updater - first time went fine, but no auction items would show up... just a blank center of the page. After the uninstall, nothing but errors.

Two typos so far - one is the Tool - it should read 'Change to Auction'

and the other is in admin/includes/english/auctions_manager.php - line 35. should be ' service '

That's it so far - any help would be great. I'm heading off to Nod, will most likely restore the store and try again in the morning.

The 'Auctiom' typo is in the admin/convert_type.php - line 121

Just an aside...

in the includes/modules/sideboxes/YOUR/information.php

There's a line ( 26-28) that states that you should be able to control the showing of the 'Auction Information' line on the sideboxes... the control for it does not appear anywhere, nor in the logical spot - Define Page Status. Did they put it somewhere else?!?

(and yes... it's in the correct template sub-dirs )
