Btw, Schoolboy, I noticed one of your sites is for a SA site.
Are you a South African expat?

The problem is that you are trying to use Zen Cart in a manner that it isn't designed to be used, so you are going to have problems at some point.

You might want to consider this free add-on http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...products_id=79

Okay, so if I am understanding this correctly, if a person links to Zencart, be it in the form of a standard link or by using eg categories box integrated into a html page or even a php page for that matter, it will automatically be a security risk and/or cause problems?
In other words, it is not safe to use Zencart unless one builds the entire site within Zencart and Zencart only?

Oops I only now saw the link you posted, thanx for the link.

How does this addon differ from what I did?
What makes it more secure than the method I used to accomplish the same?

With your method you have created a "Static" html page...
Try renaming a category or adding a category - - you will not see it on your html page
The module keeps this "dynamic" so any change is represented as they are made

I and my business associate (fairestcape) flit between London and Cape Town..., but spend more time in London.

Where we are at any given point can be determined by prevailing weather conditions

    Awesome I envy you!
Wish I could skip winter altogether by hopping on a plane
This past Summer hasn't been nice at all in Jhb and way too much rain and cold. What's happening to our beautiful African climate?

Btw,your fairestcape site is looking great!
I see you used Joomla for it. I'm still a newbie at Joomla and its taking me forever to get the hang of it.
Wordpress,Drupal and Nuke is so much easier to work with
