Cork Board Template Support Thread

Hi Clyde! Its me again! I tried to remove the msg : "Tagline goes here Change wording in includes/languages/english/cork_board/header.php" but was unsuccessful. Please see follows coding and let me know where my mistake is please

after making the change did you upload the file to your server?

did you clear your browser cache?

Are you going to use your own logo image?

if so create the graphic name it logo.gif and upload it to includes/templates/cork_board/images/logo.gif

Silver Kamel back....
The site is looking good, www.thedataedge.com and I get lots of compliments...

I recently added a category 'Services' with a couple of the items 'Call for Price'.
The 'call for price' graphic is not in the right place in the items product info box.

Do you have any suggestions.... Thanx

The graphic is in the right place what seems to be missing is a button image.

Hi Clyde! TQ!I got the answer..I did not my cache. If I don't want to use any logo, and I just wanna put my own banner for the header, how do I do it?

If you browse around my shopping cart at www.mykidzworld.net, you will find that between a few words or sentences there is a"character", how do I correct it? Sorry, I'm not sure how to print screen the thing so that you can see clearly what I mean. TQ.

This is a problem with the character set.

If you don't want a logo, create a 1 x 1 transparent image name it logo.gif and upload it to includes/templates/cork_board/images/logo.gif

2. How the I change the wording "sponsor" for the side banner to other words such as "partner".

3. How do I decrease the height of the bottom space that contain "copyright......".

1. You are using "CSS buttons" You can turn that off in admin -> configuration -> layout settings -> CSS Buttons then use the custom button set that comes with the template.

2. not template specific and is covered in this article

3. Since that area is an image, you will have to edit or create an new image at the size you wish.

use admin -> tools -> banner manager to check the banners you may have installed.

Clyde! The button look better now..TQ As for the word sponsor, I tried to change follows, but still no changes. Have I change one?
