Clyde, doing some tweaks on my site http://www.babygiftbasketstores.com/ that uses this template. I just added the shopping cart sidebox with checkout button and free shipping qualifier and set it to be on always. When something is in the cart, everything looks fine. When cart is empty, the checkout button is displayed outside the box and all boxes are out of alignment. Can you tell me how to fix this? Thanks! Amy

In which browser? I just checked in FF, IE7/8, Safari, Opera and Chrome and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

I was messing with it and put it back and did winmerge with two files to see if I could get it to work. Take a look now, it's back like it was with the checkout button outside the box.

I haven't used this sidebox, but it looks like you may be missing one or more <div></div> tags for the elements within the sidebox contents.

I have no idea how to fix that. I'll ask on the support thread for the box since theirs would be the issue. Thanks Clyde!

What files were you trying to merge with it?

You shouldn't have to merge any files with the sidebox.

The side box with checkout button works fine so I tried to use that file with the free shipping mod file to see if I could merge the two and make it work. The only difference between the two files was the block of code that adds the free shipping qualifier. It's fine when something's in the cart but boogered up when the cart is empty. So I have no idea how to tinker and fix something like that. I'm guessing it's involved in one of the "if" statements since it's only broken under the cart empty scenario.

I did not find a thread just for that mod but did post in a thread that someone other than the author was helping out with another issue so hopefully they can tell me what to do...

It appears to have everything included (shopping cart, free shipping and the add to cart button)

That's the one I used. It works fine on www.doodlebuckets.com so that's why I thought it might be template related...

When I first check the site I didn't notice anything unusual.

Were you using the out of the box sidebox without the merge attempt?
