MultiSite Module Support Thread

Hello, Im using zen-cart 1.3.9c. I just installed multi-site and COWOA.

The problem I am having is that category pages don't show any products when they do have products.

Any Ideas? I searched the thread But I didnt find anyone else with the same problem

Ok I just realized that it's not displaying categories at all. the ones that do display are a hold up from a categories mod separate from the one's updated by multisite

OK so I added each category to the store through the multisite tool and it worked. I was hoping to be-able to use the category root to assign categories to different stores:
cateogry root -0 ->
--store 1 category root 1->
---- category 2
---- category 3
--store 2 category root 4->
---- category 5
---- category 6

Do I have to assign each store to a category?

Hi All,

I have multisite installed in 1.3.8 and all multisite related features work fine, really nice in fact and I believe this will help us to integrate with Ebay where we have a hidden category for Ebay specials, etc.

One thing that has been brought to my attention by the makers of FEC-AJAX is that java and the css loaded no longer work, which is affecting Image Handler 2 and FEC-AJAX.

Does anybody have any experience with multisite and getting CSS/Java and Image Handler 2 back online?

If i remember correctly, i had IH2 installed and worked just fine. But can't guarantee, maybe i've mixed something in my head.
But for FEC-AJAX I have no idea since i don't have that module and it's quite expensive

Hi,
I have zencart installed on a server.
I have six others sites pointing to the main site on the same host.
So the problem i am facing is that the $_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"] variable in sites_switch.php always returns the name of the main site and not the other six sites when i visit them.
I know i am going wrong somewhere, please help.

We have few shops running on Zen-cart/Multisite Module. We want to turn on specific language (specific languge ID) for specific site. Eg there is shop in czech domain shop.cz - we want to turn on only czech language for this shop.cz, there is also shop.sk - we want to turn only slovac languge for this domain.
2)"www" problem
When I try to reach www.site1.com it works fine, but when I try do this by typing "http://site1.com it sais: "the domain site1.com does not exist."
How to fix this problem?
3)what is the difference between "

1) To change the language for each site you add this define to the config of that site
define('LANGUAGE_DEFAULT_SELECTOR','Default'); //Language Selector
I never messed with different languages so Im not sure but looks good to me.

2) The problem you are having with www. is a canonical domain issue. The best way to solve this is to use a .htaccess 302 redirect to the perferred display of your name either www.site1.com or site1.com. Look up .htaccess 302 redirects. It will help for SEO as well.
