Error when creating an account.

Hi

All of a sudden when someone creates an account they get this error

Warning: session_regenerate_id() [function.session-regenerate-id]: Cannot regenerate session id - headers already sent in /home/***/public_html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 162

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/scaladvd/public_html/includes/languages/english/create_account.php:105) in /home/***/public_html/includes/functions/functions_general.php on line 4

The account is still created ok but the site as been live for nearly 3 years without any problems and this is a new problem.

I have also received this email from a propective client

[FONT=&quot]I try to register but the computer keeps giving me the below messages
"Errors have occurred during the processing of your form. Please make the
following corrections:* Please choose a salutation."

Can you please advise me what salutation is????

I have no idea where to go with this and would be very grateful for any assistance.

Thanks for the reply Kobra, i have solved this by following your advice, i noticed that the create_account.php had been altered recently and had 2 lines created after the final >. Is this something that can happen or do you think that the site has been hacked.

Computers do not make decisions and alter/update/modify anything on their own unless to is called for in code

So, some one changed/replaced the file causing a new modifired date

As to a hack - - do you have ALL the security patcheds installed?
Were you ever hacked - and maybe did not clean your files completely?

It could really do with upgarding Kobra but does seem a very scary task especially with all the extras on the site.
Do you know of anybody who would be capable and prepared to do this. The current version is 1.3.7
