Linkpoint API not communicating

What am I missing?

Cert installed, Curl Tested Successful after changing curltester.php to https://secure.linkpt.net/lpcentral/servlet/lppayhost
Failed with default https://secure.linkpt.net:1129/LSGSXML

Do I need to change this somewhere? This is Godaddy Hosted with SSL if it matters. global proxy setting for curl is off.

I think I got somewhere, now I am getting a declined report instead of not communicating.... Had to change the default "secure.linkpt.net" in the /includes/modules/payment/linkpoint_api.php to:

Talked with linkpoink and secure.linkpt.net is the correct host. Spoke to godaddy and they use a proxy for curl so I put it into the Admin/configuration/mystore/ proxy true and host proxy.shr.secureserver.net:3128

Um ... No. GoDaddy killed their proxy server a few months ago. So, you MUST set the CURL Proxy Status to false.

Further, GoDaddy does NOT open port 1129 on their economy hosting plans. To get that port opened, they require that you pay three times as much for no better service before they'll open that port.
You'll find MUCH better value for your money if you go with a real hosting company instead.

Switched from Godaddy to Siteground.com

all good after the initial setup and request to open port 1129
