Restore Layout Boxes Controller changes from Backup?

A great support forum you have here along with a superb open source application. I'm very new to the zencart 'experience' and must say, it's brilliant!

Hello all, have been looking online for answer to my question in the forums but haven’t exactly found the right answer.

I upgraded my zen cart Shop from 1.3.9f to 1.3.9g last night and everything’s working perfectly fine but I made a stupid mistake and hit the 'Reset All Box Sort Order to match DEFAULT Sort Order for Template' under the Layout Boxes Controller so naturally its screwed up the front page of the site from the customisations I had previously set.

I have a full backup of the site and database and would like to know whether there’s and easy way to restore the settings back from the backup in terms of re-uploading files and overwriting via FTP.

If so, what files/folders do I need to overwrite?

You could try backing up from your current database the current table for:
layout_boxes

Then, from your backup database try to restore the backup table:
layout_boxes

and see if this will get your settings back in order ...

Heh, just finished putting it all back the manual way, wasnt so bad after all working with the sort orders.

Will keep that in mind though, everythings working fine so far.
