MultiSite Module Support Thread

Did anybody figure out how to make this module work with CJ Loader???

I need some help. I did everything it say's here http://www. thisdomain.net/dev/multisite_instructions_4.0.html

and then I pulled this as a 2nd site http://www.mgs-test.com and nothing isn't pulling it. What am I doing wrong?

ok, I got the subdomain running at http://marchforbabies.morrisgiftshop.biz the problem is click on the link but its trying to pull the links from the main domain instead of the sub-domain name. How can I fix this?

I have two zencarts i have added to a couple of domain names to try the multi site module.

The problem i am having is that one site looks fine, but the site i have added the multisite module to has no formating and the second site doesn't connect to the database.

I have installed and reinstalled this and seem to keep getting the same problem.

I have a similar problem, but I think it's template related.
Some of the templates I use are fine, but some of them are also without formatting.

Somewhere in this extensive thread where people with the same issue, but they didn't post the solution (yet)

It could be in the config files you made for each site, but I still couldn't figure what detail to ad to them to get the templates showing up fine.

Perhaps in the config file for your site you also can point to the right database.

Sorry, I can't help you any further on the moment, because I'm still investigating the problem.

Thanks for the reply, yeah i have noticed the same problem, but can never see the solution, I will just tray a few different templates and see if i get anywhere, if i do i will let you know as well.

Hi there all.

What a wonderful mod! Loving it!

Im having a bit of a challenge with PayPal Website Payments Standard - IPN.
I have one paypal account and all payments are accepted into this account (no problem).

the problem is with the "cancle and return to misite" link on paypal.

i have 5 sites:
misite1.com
misite2.com
etc etc...

when the customer has CONFIRMED ORDER and they are sent to Paypal, there is a link at the bottom "Cancel and return to Mi Site"
This link only works on one site, the site that ive set the following information in paypal.


set your Instant Payment Notification Preferences URL to:

http://misite1.com/ipn_main_handler.php
and
Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URL to:

http://misite1.com/index.php?main_page=checkout_process

doesnt work for
misite2.com
misite3.com etc
the link returns an error: "Oops cant load this page" and is looking for this url:
https://www.paypalobjects.com/index....eckout_payment

I have a couple of other sites (call them thissite1.com, thissite2.com) that are not in my multisite and recieve payment from the same PDT and they work wonderfully.

Does anyone know how i might resolve this?

I have started again, with two fresh installs of zencart, however now i have another probelm where suddenly when i visit the domain name: www.essexrodentcontrol.com it says the domain www.essexrodentcontrol.com does not exist.

I have read a previous thread where they talk about a redirect but my problem is not identical and so i am not sure if this is the solution.

my two config file are:

essexrodentcontrol.com_config.php

$template_dir = "Essex Rodent";
define('SITE_NAME','Essex Rodent');
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.essexrodentcontrol.com');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://essexrodentcontrol.com');
define('CATEGORIES_ROOT','1'); //root categories is 1 for this site 

The second site seems ok and is online but i am not sure if that is simply because the first site with all the files in isn't working.

Anyway any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated.

Try renaming your file to

www.essexrodentcontrol.com_config.php
