I love this image swapper but it's killed the performance of our site. I followed the image size recommendations, optimized for the web etc. Am I missing something?
Anyone have performance issues with this module and how did you resolve it?

Hi All
I've 2 questions regarding the AJAX IMAGE Swapper:
1. If there are only one image for the product, I saw empty space under the picture. is this correct? I thought one thumbnail should be listed there.
2. Just want to confirm, currently, AIS doesn't support image uploading via FTP, I must uploade the images one by one in Admin section, right?
Thanks in advacne

Would need to see exactly what you mean. To create thumbnails you add attributes. Then you use Ajax image swapper manager in your zen cart admin to add images to your attributes. Ie Colour.
You can FTP the images up to your server if you like.
However, you will then need to type or paste in the exact address for the particular image. In the Image Swapper Manager. Under 'Upload to directory' you can specify address. It would probably be quicker uploading them through the Mod.
That wasn't the plan!
Edit his file from your web server.
admin/AJAX_image_swapper.php
And Place <?php /* At the Beginning of line 65 <iframe
and Close it with */?> at the end of 66 </iframe>
This will stop AJAX image swapper from checking the server for updates and will work as it always has.

anyone get ajax image swapper working with 1.3.9h ?
That wasn't the plan!
Yes, but we don't muck about with Zen Cart's SEO.
Currently working with Clyde's Simple Zen, IH2-2_0 Rev 8c, Newsletter Subscribe 2.2, Captcha for 1.3.9d, and Scheduled Events.
We have made several tweaks, but no real significant changes.
We don't like the borders, hard-coded image blocks, etc. and have changed them to better reflect the customer's product. Be warned that messing with the hard-coding will wreak havoc if you do not standardize each products image size. The set-size div was obviously added to prevent different-sized product images from making the screen jump around with each different image.
Where most make their mistake when loading this mod is missing the required changes listed in the readme that are not provided in an included file.
