attribute option Values is there a limit

New install 1.3.9h with grid, new sidebox andover_modern template.

I have a new client that has 200 different colors of thread. So the attribute would be color: the values would be the names of the 200 different colors.

Will it be possible to set it up that way or is that too many options?

If it exceeds capacity of the system, how else can this be done.

Zen Cart does not have a limit ...

However ... the server you are on, if not well configured, will become slower on these Products with so many Attribute values ...

You really need to test it out on the server you are hosting the domain on to see if there is a problem or not ...

Make sure that each of your color attributes are marked with "Apply Discounts Used by Product Special/Sale: No" (assuming that the colors don't have cost associated with them); this will heavily reduce your parse times.
