Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

If it generates a LOT of files, theis must mean you have a LOT or product images..

GoDaddy is not a recommended host for any dynamic content application (which Zen Cart is).. You need to consider a host which supports e-commence and other dynamic content better..

Which host to use is a topic for another thread NOT this support thread..

I found that in the bmz_cache fold,there just some file like 0-9&a-f.Could any change can generates more files that like 00-99 or aa-zz,I think if more files to generate to put the images cache in,it will deal with it?
Am I right?

Two items:

- Where does one change the background settings - wait for it - for the pop-up window? The ones in the admin only affect the product pages. And yes - I scanned multiple threads looking for the answer... to no avail.


- Since installing IH2, I can no longer click the 'browse' to add an image when I'm editing a product, and click on the 'insert/edit image' button. The dialog box pops up, but it doesnt allow me to browse when clicked. If I put something in, say 'fez.png' and say OK - it's trying to find it in my admin folder/fez.png ...

Any ideas?

IH2 rev 8

Every (?) category in our store works fine with IH2 except 1. Not sure what's special about this category. All other categories' images link to the bmz_cache images but the sick category points right at the images folder - so nothing is resized. The popups work - but display correspondingly ginormous images.

Help! I've scoured the threads for this - but either it's not here or I missed some key words or something. It's late and I'm about to turn into a pumpkin.

Please PM me for URLs. I'd rather not post the store online.

Sorry, not really related to IH2 support.. I typed in the search terms background, popup and found at least half a dozen threads which answer this question..

Not sure why.. Nothing in the IH2 fileset would cause this particular issue..

I tried to post this last night - got lost. The category thing is a coincidence. I found products in other categories where some products in a category worked right and others did not.

The hover over pop-up IS DIRECTLY the result of installing IH2. Perhaps I wasn't specific enough...

When the hovering box appears, it has to be generated from something that IH2 is doing, and pulling from - as far as assigning a background. The question is where is this background RGB being assigned? It's not in the Admin - Images area, as those command lines are for the general/product pages.

AND, if it is in a file as code, why is it not an Admin variable? I can't be the only store with a background of 102:51:51 ! *chuckle*

I assume this is in the javascript, but can't say where.. Hopefully someone will come along and pitch in an answer/suggestion..

Short answer: because it never has been an admin variable.. In the six year history of this module, NO ONE has ever mentioned this or indicated that it SHOULD be an admin variable.. Not sure if there are any immediate plans/need to make it one now..

OK... tracked the "Background issue for the hovering pop-up" issue down, and maybe if someone else can use it, great.

It's the "trailimageid" in the includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATE/css/style_imagehover.css

Ahhh.. thanks for sharing.. I never mess with this stylesheet at all..
