Salesmaker to increase price

I am looking to increase sale pricing and would like to make salesmaker.php to increase pricing ? Guru's point me in the right direction, must be a line change or something simple. Please help

I would like to use salesmaker to to increase pricing by percentage or absolute value and just like it works to deduct on sales currently.

Yea, is there an interface from the admin panel where we can increase prices by a percentage or by a value, on specific products or products from different categories instead of changing the prices from Catalog ->Categories/Products...

SQL is a good choice bt I will not maintain it once its live... I require a very basic solution to it as the company wont be able to use SQL as method..

Please help!!!

I need to increase pricing in certain categories or all products and salemaker works well on deducting and removing this sale but I would like this module to also be able to increase pricing, must be a simple code change... Assistance is greatly appreciated

I don't believe the salemaker can be used in that way since salemaker is a temporary pricing tool. It doesn't decrease the price of the product in the database as far as I know. To permanently increase/decrease the price of products, you have to change the database entry which requires a mySQL statement.

Even temporary change is good... It works well to decrease prices but how do you use it to increase prices?

Short answer: You can't.

I just tried it on one of my sites as a test to increase the price in a category to $10. What I get on the screen is the original price ($8 crossed out) underneat that is Sale! $10 followed by Save -25% off. Not exactly what you want a customer to see.

I have a product for which I apply Product Quantity Discounts wenever doing bulk purchases..

But I do not know where they use the option_id=22 as a reference, I dont see such id=22..
