This sounds great! I have one question though... if someone signs up as an affiliate, with this module, can they sign someone up and get commissions off of what that person sells. I'm sorry if I didn't explain that very well, I don't know the lingo.

So if I'm an affiliate, and sign you sign up to be an affiliate, do I get a portion of your earnings?

The answer, no. What you're asking for is a type of a pyramid scheme (legal one mind you). That is not currently possible with this module.

You do not do anything with the zc_installer folder. That folder is for installing ZenCart. You copy and paste the contents of the snap.sql file into the text field at ADMIN > TOOLS > Install SQL Patches screen.

Low and behold, this one didn't even take much though...

Make the following change in /admin/referrers.php

BEFORE:

     ($referrers[$selected] == $referrer) ? "" : zen_href_link(FILENAME_REFERRERS, "referrer=" . $referrer['customers_id'], 'NONSSL') ); 

AFTER:

     ($referrers[$selected] == $referrer) ? "" : zen_href_link(FILENAME_REFERRERS, "referrer=" . $referrer['customers_id'] . "&offset=" . $_GET['offset'] . "&limit=" . $_GET['limit'], 'NONSSL') );

I had the same issue with the email error.

Try editing the includes/modules/pages/referrer_signup/header.php file line 56 from 'admin_level = 1' to 'admin_level = 0' or you can do what I did and create a second admin user called Affiliate Manager with a new email address (I used [email protected]) and left the code as is at 'Admin_Level = 1 '

The pay button is for a manual pay system, i.e you send them a check or PayPal, etc. and then click the button to change the status.

For me... when an email is sent to the affiliate all it says is

You can change this if you need to. It's only necessary for some sort of "from" for the mailer. ((Now I see why this was using my owner email.)) Expect this to change in the next version or in the very worst case, the following subsequent version to some sort of "select from these emails" in the Admin Panel under Configuration.

Can you tell me how to change the look of the referrer pages (terms, signup, etc)? There weren't any css files in the mod and I'd like to have a slightly different look than the normal account pages.

You would directly edit the template files in the respective template directory. If you want to make CSS style changes, you can do them inline or add them to the stylesheet.css file.
