category headings missing in one language

I'm using 1.3.9h, an am using the Apparel-Boutique template. The English language version is flawless.

In the Dutch language version the heading of the categories only show category-count, no category titles. If you click the link nothing happens...

I switched the Dutch language version back to the Classic template, then only the head of the pages shows. I tried other templates (ZCT Jewelry 36 and Ashley Pink, but the result is the same.

In the English page the link reads:
http://global-linq.asia/jewels/index...=index&cPath=1
http://global-linq.asia/jewels/index...=index&cPath=5

when hovering over the heading. In the dutch version it reads:
http://global-linq.asia/jewels/index...e=index&cPath=

I have a few more things that I cannot master, I put them in separate postings, maybe they're related?

If you are getting a blank page or part of a blank page I would check your /cache folder for error messages.

Again - not a template specific question.

searched tpl_categories.php. Found several and chose to fiddle the one in the \includes\templates\ashley_pink directory. Changed the pointer gif's (line 136-139) and found both languages use the same tpl_categories.php.

I had used easy populate to pull things out of one shop into the other, but the ONE thing that does NOT get copied are the categories and subcategories names in languages other than English. The English ones DO copy.

Solution: re-add the Dutch titles in the shop admin...
