Hi

Been having customers complain that my paypal express checkout is broke. Ive also had a few wmails though

ALERT: PayPal Express Checkout Error ()
- (6) Couldn't resolve host 'api-3t.paypal.com'

- (6) name lookup timed out

However ive put an order on myself and it went on fine.

My gut is this is a temp (poss dns) issue with a paypal payment processing server

Has anyone else come across it or can shed any light on it?

Yes, it's a DNS issue.
It's not got anything to do with any PayPal servers though. DNS problems like "unable to resolve" are problems with *your* server's DNS configuration, or at least with the dns service your server is *using* to do DNS name resolution. (ie: as specified in the server's resolv_conf)

If the problem persists, notify your hosting company, and/or the server administrator.

Cheers for the quick reply DrByte. The server is a dedicated one and ive not touched any of those settings for ages. Maybe my host is having some dns issues. Ill go do some investigating
