Default How do I change the Invoice and Packing slip text size?

    Hi,

Can someone please tell me in which file I can change the text size for invoices and packing slip?

Last week we upgraded from v1.3.9 to v.1.5.6. The text size was smaller on v.1.3.9. I find that the new one takes up alot of room, and therefore way more pages.

I realise there is a very old thread to this question, but I didn't find an answer there, which is why I started a new one.

    thanks for your help

Actually it's not the one I send, it's the one I print out which is included with the orders.

Thank you for clarifying/correcting me, there is still css involved. Would suggest starting with looking in the admin/includes/stylesheet.css file and making modifications as necessary. Reason suggested to start there is because of the css call in admin/invoice.php.

For some reason I thought that the admin/includes/stylesheet_print.css file may also play a factor, but in my very brief review/search, I didn't see it get included in admin/invoice.php nor admin/includes/stylesheet.css.

    thanks for your reply.

The stylesheet_print.css has hardly anything in it, so I don't see what I can Change and the Stylesheet has so much I wouldn't even know where to start.

Is there no list or something that shows which knows which files (and lines) refer to the Article, number and totals font size?

If you are using a pc to look at the page, pressing F12 should open a "developer" window where you can see the html code and associated css (telling you the file involved and line number within it controlling the specific html item.) this is easier to locate if say you right click on the object to adjust and select inspect element or similarly named option. Such an action should open the inspection window with the item selected and the css information shown.

Different browsers call these things differently and provide different window options to get to the desired content. One great thing about it is that you should be able to modify the css on screen to get an idea of what is needed and then go to edit the file rather than dealing with clearing the cache and/or cookies after each attempted change...
