    Hello,
    I am using version v1.3.9h
Can anyone tell me where emails sent to clients through zen cart back end are stored? I have looked through the forums and searched online but can't find an answer.

    log into your cpanel ...
    click the icon called phpMyAdmin
Click the database you are using for the active url site ..
    Find the table called email_archive
click on the right tab called Browse ..

Is there no way for my client to log into the back end of Zen Cart and find e-mails they have sent to their customers?

There's a plugin called "Email Archive Manager" that displays the emails, if email archiving is enabled. Check your admin's Configuration->E-mail Options and make sure that the item Email Archiving Active? is set to true (the default install value is false).

    Well, yes.
That option is not turned on by default because it does cause your database size to grow HUGE for busy stores.
Plus, most storeowners have their stores set up to send the storeowner copies of all order-confirmations (etc) emails (Admin->Configuration->Email Options->"Send extra copies of xxxxxx emails to ...."), so they don't need to make Zen Cart store that same information in duplicate.

    Thank you
This was pertaining to a specific email that was sent to a specific customer via the back end. MY client was tying to retrieve the email she had sent to her customer through the zen cart back end

    Hello,

My Enable Archiving Active? is False.

We would like to send an e-mail to all 14,000 customers and we do not need to save e-mails.

Will this grow Database (proportionally to number of customers)?

Thank you for response in advance.

Sending an email to 14,000 customers is going to put your site into a world-of-hurt with your hosting provider. Better to use a bulk-mailing service like MailChimp or Constant Contact.
