Please help Editing Product Price

Did you try seeing if abandoning it in a cart would recreate the problem?

I don't think abandoning in cart will be the reason sir because its not just one, I edited 20 prices and they all comes back. Maybe theres something i need to do in settings or configuration or something but i really dont know where? Please guys help me.... its been 3 days this problem i cant solve

Although you shouldn't need to, you could try adding an 'Available Date' and Expiry Date' to your specials price.

Yes i did, but still price comes back to its original.

There MUST be something running in the background updating your database. Did you try changing anything else except the prices? For example, if you change products_status to 0, does the product come back to life? Or if you disable the special, does it become special again? If you change model number or description, does it change when the price changes? Do new orders stay in the database? New customers? If you change anything related to a customer, like first name or address, does it "stay"?

It might be worth looking at the Specials table in your database if you have access to it, perhaps using phpmyadmin or similar, in case anything looks out of place. Here's what mine looks like in Zen Cart version v1.5.7d

EXACTLY sir what I'm searching Sir, i knew there something running that updating the database, but i dont know what or where. Did not try yet changing outside the prices, only in that page alone. I tried disable the special it will only show like this "Price: $519.99" just the regular price. Yes orders will stay in database also the new costumers.

This has been looking like a rogue cron job from the beginning. If you see absolutely nothing under Cron Jobs in cPanel, check with your host to see if they haven't accidentally set a cron job that affects your site.

So, if you disable the special, it does NOT re-enable after X hours, it stays as a non-special?

Perhaps try changing database password (remember to update both configure.php files) to eliminate external database connections. If that doesn't help, you'll need to check all of your site's files to see what's causing the database updates. It doesn't seem to be a percentage (519.99 -> 309.99) so I'm guessing there's something with actual prices set for it.

With this being a non-standard issue and definitely caused by something coded into your site (for whatever reason), I'm afraid you won't be able to get much help here without someone actually digging into the files and taking a closer look.

So there's really nothing i can do under the Product Price Manager ....


Im trying this experiment, just to monitor if price that i put in the regular price will change... IF YES, that will conclude that there's something running in the background...
