Changing Thumbnail Size of Images of Products

I've looked throughout the forum and faq and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I'd like to change the thumbnails of my products so that they are a bit larger. How would I go about doing that?

I think you want ADMIN>CONFIGURATION>IMAGES and then look at the Product Info Image Size settings.

Go to the FAQ and read Ajeh's tutorial on formatting multiple images.(search for fred.jpg)

Edit your images to the size you want. Use Admin to set cart images to that size.

Admin: Configuration>Images
and edit "Small Image Width" or "Small Image Height".

If you don't see a change it could be that the image file is smaller than the value set in admin - it doesn't get stretched (for me at least).

To confirm it makes a difference just set it to 1 pixel!

The "Small Image Width" only affects thumbnails in sidebars.
There's a number of settings that affect the size of thumbnails.
They all seem to be in Admin: Configuration>Images though.

Hi,
We are at baby stages of launching a new site. Nothing has been done on the template yet (v1.3.9b-h). We just installed imagehandler2.
Original thumbnail images were too small on recently purchased template (ZC04A00437)
No matter what I do at Configuration>Images> it won't resize my thumbnails heightwise on home page or categories. No problem with the width though. It just cuts the thumbnail in half. I also tried product info and all other tools that were previously advised in other treads of the forum.

sorry i wrote that previously but the forum deleted it for some reason. Anyway, the website is h j w h o l e s a l e f a s h i o n j e w e l r y.com and the problem is with the thumbnail images in subcategories. No matter what I do at Configuration>Images> it won't resize my thumbnails heightwise on home page or categories. No problem with the width though. It just cuts the thumbnail in half.
