ZC156c - Admin Home Page - Orders section - Order Status links . If you click eg. Processing, it takes you to a page with just those orders listed. You can change the Order Status from a dropdown on the right, but when you do, it doesn't send an order status update email.
Is it supposed to?
I can't find the answer on the forums, or even in my now ancient, well-thumbed 1st edition copy of e-Start Your Web Store with Zencart

Ryk, a base install of zc156c doesn't include a dropdown to change an order's status. The dropdown that I do see (at the very top of the page) allows you to choose the orders' status value's filter.
