SQL Patch / 403 Forbidden

The theme I'm installing comes with a readme doc that tells you to install the SQL patch via Admin/Tools ....
Here is what it shows to install :

INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value,
configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order,
last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function)
VALUES ('Product Listing - Layout Style', 'PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE', 'rows',

or products can be listed in multiple columns per row (columns option)', '8', '40', NULL,
now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(\'rows\', \'columns\'),');

When I try to install I receive a 403 Forbidden error.... the ending (after my folder names) which reads:

index.php?cmd=sqlpatch&action=execute (port 443)

What do I do to correct this so that the patches load?

Your hoster may not permit tools like this. Do you have phpMyAdmin? If so, you can run it in there. One caveat: if your database uses a prefix, you will have to adjust the install SQL script accordingly.

I host with NameCheap so can't imagine them not permitting it.

Those two configuration settings are already present in Zen Cart 1.5.7 and later, no need run that SQL patch.

It's apparently an older theme (not developed for Zen Cart 1.5.7 and later). Those settings (Configuration :: Layout Settings) can be used for your template's customization.
