Default Re: How do EZ-Pages work?

I noticed a problem with ez-pages when configured to use an internal URL. When the ez-page link is generated within the header or footer, the link is correct and shows the internal URL.

However, if you access the ez-page directly via URL, is shows the ez-page with empty HTML content (because it is empty) and does not redirect to the internal URL.

    example:
    Code:
    www.domain.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=10
    What do you think?
Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want…

Cant seem to find the answer to my question.

    Internal url link /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16

    Parses html as /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16

which of course will not produce a page.

You are specifying the URL incorrectly. It should be more like

    index.php?main_page=YOUR-NAME-FOR-THE-PAGE

I'm guessing you've got outdated Admin sanitizer code. There were a few iterations to it between v155 to v155e.

I have a fresh brand new v1.5.5e install I just set up.

I went to admin ez-pages, and created a new page, and put in the internal link of:

    /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16

    and clicked Save.

The link works fine on storefront.

Then went back into admin ez-pages, and clicked edit. Link appears correct. Clicked save. Saved properly, no re-encoding. Link works fine on storefront.
