So in your database for the first entry provided. Is the data shown as: <p>Test</p> or as: &lt;p&gt;Test&lt;/p&gt;

    Please answer 1 or 2 instead of trying to type the result unless you know how to without it being parsed into "characters".

    When "manually" entered, is it going in as 1: or is it going in like (3):
Test

    And have you tried reentering that line after placing the above file in the admin directory where described and possibly logging out/back into the admin if it was placed while you were logged in?

    The site is running CK Editor. So I went into HTML mode in the editor and typed in
Test

    Have a look

    This is the correct mode.

    Is the code that was provided above applied, and have you modified the about all manufacturers admin code any other than what was provided above?

    Can you perhaps capture the $_POST data at the point when it is set to the local variable possibly through trigger_error to see if it is already double encoded at that point?

    I'm not sure and to be honest that is outside of my understanding of coding. I think what you would need to do is install CK Editor and the manufacturers about mod with CK Editor added and see if you can get it working on v1.5.5 which I have installed. It isn't 1.5.5e or any other version of 1.5.5, although I doubt it would make much difference.
