I think you have some input to the team on this, why are mods allowed to add tables without any name control?
Why not enforce that they must be all zmod_whatever, to keep them separate and out of the way/easily noticed as add-ons.

My preference is to preserve the Zen Cart prefix so that the Install SQL Patches command would be to work with these tables.
