zen-cart customisation

Has anyone been able to customise zen-cart fully to look the way they want like a http://www.clevershoppers.com/ or like a template monsters one. Basically, upon looking on a site you do not know that it is zen-cart first hand.

Let us see examples.

I wouldn't say that ours could be pegged as a ZenCart shop right off either (or that could just be the proud mama in me  )

Re: zen-cart customisation

Thanks Mike - Yes, I did design BluBrix myself.

After I get some other things wrapped up here, I plan on contributing some templates to the community. It might take a little while, but it's definately in the works.

Re: zen-cart customisation

These are all very nice designs! Great work people! I'm currently working on a cutom design that's looking pretty stellar so far. I hope to get it where it looks very professional to the point where nobody would know it's build on Zen Cart (that's not to say I don't like their name/image, I do very much).

Re: zen-cart customisation

Here's a late entry. My current 25 favorite Zen Carts, very few of which are immediately obvious as Zen Carts, showing just how much a little flair and a bit of sweat can achieve. Note also that the official Zen Cart showcase is back and accepting submissions.

Kuroi,

Loved your list of sites, WOW, impressive design chops on those.

I even ordered from Northeast jewelry, elegant stuff, too bad they are not showing up high in the results for a "celtic knot jewelry" search on Google. Maybe because they are using an older version of Zen Cart?

Dianna-

Why do you think an older version of ZC would rank differently?

No, not because of version. :P

It can be due to a lot of things. Maybe they are new online, they need to work their advertising, need more linkbacks, need to work their metatags, their descriptions are great though. It's not easy to be on top, specially if you are new, take lot of work and effort.

If they have a good store, it just a time factor, but it won't happen at the flick of your fingers.
