vertical-align:middle; text on checkout page by radio buttons

Does anyone know how I could valign="middle" the text next to the images of Paypal, google and Credit Cards on my Checkout Page?

I tried this in googlecheckout.php for example:

Then, adding this to my stylesheet:

.checkoutLines {
vertical-align:middle;
}

It seems to work, but only for the radio button. What would I need to do to valign the text?

Will this work;

.checkoutLines img {
vertical-align:middle;
}

or apply the class to the image rather than have a span...

I thought I'd sorted it as it looked great in FF. What's wrong with my CSS for the two tables at the bottom of the right column at all?

oh, you'd need to add something to cart, then click on the sign up / sign in link to see what I'm talking about by the two boxes on the login page... only in IE that it's noticeable but if you looked at the code in FF then maybe you could see the problem?

Steve, it's just dawned on me that the CSS may well be ok, much, much more likely something that I've messed up when I inserted these payment options into the boxes in my tpl_login_default.php lines 96-130...

Thats a nasty case of "Divitus"

Just tested the page in html validator and there are too many errors. This will take a bit of time to sort out. (i dont have time now. May be tonight..)

Hi Steve, it looked great to me last night in FF when I was trying to tidy it up, thought I'd done a good job until I seen the 'Divitus' in IE this morning!!

I've had a few attempts at curing it but unfortunately my Div skills are poor at best :-(

I would love to know what you did to left align the form fields for name, address, phone number, etc etc .... since these are center aligned by default. (create account side of login page)

1. Don't know where the header went for the store. Strange things are going on.

2. Don't know why you see TEXT_LIKE_YOU_DO ... even though, for the 2nd time today, I have reupload the appropriate files that come with a fresh download of zencart.

3. Why the input fields are not left align by default is beyond me, as the center alignment looks awful.

4. Don't know why reference to State: (label) is missing. Is showing in all appropriate files.

Any help you can offer can be appreciated.

It looks like you've deleted some of the defines from one or more of your files.

Do you know how to use the developers toolkit? Use it to search the CAPITALISED_TERMS on the page.... what files is it finding?

Yes, I've been through the Developer's ToolKit.
I've reuploaded the default files (I keep unaltered zencart files just for those purposes).

All the defines are showing in all instances/files of the login page. (language file, template file, etc). What's weirder is that those errors showed up the first time I visited that page. I hadn't done any adjustments to the look of the page. They were already there.

I have added modifications, but none that affect the login page whatsoever. (Google analytics, image handler, etc).

Re-installing the default files for english/login.php and the tpl_login (whatever it's called) should have fixed any missing defines. I even replaced the english/index.php ....

And I installed this site using the same unaltered zencart files (downloaded from the zencart site 2.5 weeks ago) that I used to create the 3 previous carts these past 2 weeks ... so it can't be the files I'm working from.

So, while I continue to hunt and figure out that problem ... what about the alignment of the field input boxes for creating an account? :blush:

HEADING_RETURNING_CUSTOMER is found in english/login.php and english/time_out.php, according to the tool kit

Just went through all the capitals - all are showing to be found in the proper places, including english/login.php

So, the information is THERE ... just why isn't it reading it ?

You got it in them both:

• /includes/languages/english/login.php
• /includes/templates/CUSTOM/templates/tpl_login_default.php

Sorry, I missed post #16.... It sounds like something's happened to your tpl_login.default.php file if Toolkit's not finding it in there. Try uploading that file again and put it in your /includes/templates/CUSTOM/templates/

I find it in six core files.

Try switching to Classic template and see if you still have the same issues... that will eliminate your default files.

Not sure if this is your problem, but do you have text-align: left;
in your main wrapper? Try putting it in there if you don't.

Replace stylesheet.css (line 181):
