mainpage with all flash at the centerbox HELP!!!

My cart is 1.3.8.a
I was trying to put the big flash on the main front of my website.
(no product listing on the main page only.)
So, I want to make all the center box to be one graphic which is swf(flash)file. and leave the header and footer
But No side boxes.

But, I did with from the defined page editor on the main.php
but the flash placement is not inside the centerboxes. It moved to right side. I want to make it fit and head and footer to be stick together.
Also the site name "shopyourstrulee.com' that message won't delete.

How can i correct this problem?

Is this possible from the Defined Page Editor?

Do I need to make another Stylesheet? and make extra mainpage ?

Probably the easiest way to do this would be to have your home page http://www.shopyourstrulee.com/ and then upload your own, customised index.htm file with the flash and any other custom content. Then, you would simply have hard coded links to your http://www.shopyourstrulee.com/shop/zen/ site.

Then Should I make the home as html pages

and ad the top of "My acccount " and "Login/Register"
and "Search" bar with PHP Code?

I really a new to zen cart and I know how to make with html.

But not any other Stylesheets and PHP.

How can I add the Code which is the top of heard

"Search" bar and "Account Log in"

just like the other zencart pages.

I've been trying to add the search bar at the mainpage of top corner just like my zencart page.

How Can I add the Search Bar at the Html Main page on top corner?

My Main page is made with Html because I wanted to add the Flash file inside the middle and instead of making Main with Cart System,

I made a html main page and connected with catagorie with zencart.

But, I wanted to make exactly looks like a zencart page except the center box.

I tried to follow the make alost similar to catagorie page with main page but, I cannot add the search bar at the top corner.

How Can I add the Search bar to Html page?

What I really wanted to do was, making main page with zencart not from Html but I kept on getting error during put the flash file inside the sideboxes. ( I couldn't fix the centerbox so that only one flash can fit inside)
How Can do this?

i've tryinig to add the flash in the center boxes on mainpages.

I want mainpage & catagory page looks different.

So, The Main page should have Top Menu (hearer) and Footer

But no sideboxes or other product info.

I want to change only the center box to be all flash.

But When I put the flash from the Mainpage from ezpage, it move to right corner and it doesn't FIT INSIDE THE CENTERBOXES.

HOW CAN I GET RID OF ALL THE ITEM IN SIDE THE CENTER AND PUT ONLY ONE FLASH AND ADD THE FOOTER AND HEARDER SAME AS CATAGORIES PAGES.

RIGHT NOW I MADE THIS PAGE WITH HTML SO THAT IT ALSMOST LOOK LIKE CATAGORIES PAGE BUT IT LOOKS LITTLE DIFFERENT. ( INOT WELL WITH CSS) SEARCH BAR IS MISSING TOO.

I ask several time to find out how to ccustomized the mainpage without sideboxes and withouth any product info inside the centerboxes.

But Still cannot the figure it out!

I figure it out how to get rid of the sideboxess but

When I tried to put the flashes into the centerboxes and iframe it,

it moves to the right side so that flash comes out to right .

it doesn't fint insdie the center boxes.

How can i fix this? I tried to edit from ez-page from tpl_main_page.php.

But when I add the flash into the centerbox, it comes out of boxes.

Also the Mainpage, has the title inside the centerboxes

also they have space right underneath centerbox if i edit the pictures.

How can I get rid of this space between center box and header?

Why not just upload your own index.htm file to the root folder of your website? That way your main page can be designed in Dreamweaver with as much Flash as you like. Simply use an html menu across the top of your page to link then to the shopping cart area.

I did that and my mainpage right now looks like that but

You can edit some of the HTML tags here, to suit your page, and you can apply styles to the divs if required.

How Can I change the Buttons image like my cart search button?

I want to look exactly same as my cart pages and I have the own buttom image for search bar.

How can I change the Buttom image on this search bar?

Just curious... is there some reason you didn't want to have the home page in your Zen Cart? It would make life easier, rather than trying to get ZC features to show up on one external page which has only a "splash page" function.

I wanted to make a one big flash to the whole center box and add the hearder and footer same as cart but

cannot find the way to set up the flash inside the centerbox!!

I tried to make from the ez-page and the flash got moved to right side and

there were space between the hearder and centerboxes.

I asked for help from forum but they said just make with html will be eailer.

I don't know anything about flash so I can't help you there, but I would think putting it in define_main_page.php (via Tools > Define Page Editor) would be better than using an ez-page. Define pages allow PHP content whereas ez-pages allow only HTML, if that makes any difference.

It's possible to have your home page displayed WITHOUT:-

• side columns, and/or
• header, and/or
• footer

... if you want it to be displayed as such.

This is achieved by configuring bits of code in tpl_main_page.php

There are instructions embedded in this file, as to how disabling these elements is achieved.
