Display attributes regular price and sale price

My customer would like to display both the sale price and the regular price on either the product page or in the shopping cart. Doesn't matter which one as long as you can see that you are getting a discount.

The products are set-up priced by attributes. Example: Necklace comes in silver or gold, different price for each metal set in attributes and has a pull down menu showing for ordering.

Presently, starting at price shows in product description (great!), but for silver price only (bummer).

So when a user puts an order through for the gold necklace, it looks like nothing is on sale, and the user is not receiving a discounted price, when they actually are.

If someone could point me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful. I have searched on the forums for quite awhile, but haven't been able to find anything.

Zen Cart 1.3.8a, I don't think there has been an upgrade or any addons installed.

I have been searching high and low. I am hoping there is a mod available that will display the ATTRIBUTE sale price and regular price on the product info page. I see the shopping cart option above, but my customer is looking specifically for this to be displayed on the product info page. It doesn't have to show % off although that would be fine. I just need the difference in price to be displayed for the attribute displayed. I have seen several threads but not with a definitive way to make this happen. If no mod, any other suggestions would be great. BTW, I am using v. 1.5.0

I need a baseline of what you have and what you want. Are your attributes operating directly from a stock 1.50 install or are you using stock by attributes or some other garden variety add on?

On the products page are you looking for:

• A simple math equation to calculate the savings for display only?
• A simple equation that needs to be stored in the db for a variety of other 'down the road' uses?

Thank you for your response and I apologize for the time in responding. I am using 1.5.0. I am not using Stock by Attributes nor any other add-on. When using SaleMaker, the attribute price will decrease based on the discounted rate indicated. Instead of displaying the lower price alone. I would like to have the original price displayed. And the discounted rate next to it (based on the salemaker discount indicated). I hope this makes sense.

Ok lets get this straight before I start...

From a stock ZenCart install you add products, those products have attributes added and those attributes are going to be on sale using ZenCart's default SaleMaker.

Condition 1:

• 'Product priced by Attribute' must be checked in order to apply the SaleMaker discount to the attributes.

Result 1:

• The product info 'displays' the lowest attribute price with the SaleMaker discounts

• This value does not get passed to the shopping cart regardless of the attribute chosen:
  

To clarify, the attributes are checked 'yes' to allow specials/sales here:

Condition 2:

• You'd like the pricing changes to be displayed right beside the attribute pricing on the product info page.
• Using the format: Retail Price $, Sale $, Save $/%

SaleMaker, Specials, Discount Coupons, Group Pricing work properly with **products_price.

However out of the box, if you happen to apply the above modules to the default ZC attributes code... save the headache... don't.

Hang in there, my only priority now is to fix the attributes. Once repaired I'll add the sale code you're requesting creyesx6.
