Need Help on customizing the "New Products for May" Module!

I have some new items and I made the manufactur show as "New!" is it possible that the I can show the manufactur below the image?

Can anyone help me or any suggestions in this area?

I have made a example of an image but what is in red is the manufatuar. What I want is the red below the product image and above the product name.

Try it and see if it works...
Make a copy of new_products.php on the server so you can edit and upload to see the change..
Now name the file that is on the server new_products.php to new_products.old and upload your new copy to the changes to the server...
So, If not this new changes work delete the new one you uploaded and change new_product.old to new_product.php

I have try that code of the link you provided and it will not work. Any other suggestions?

You can add the manufacturer's name below the image in the New Products module for the Centerbox by changing the code in the file:
/includes/modules/new_products.php

and using your templates and overrides, around line 71 use:

  	$manufacturers_name= zen_get_products_manufacturers_name($new_products->fields['products_id']);

The code posted here should put the manufacturers_name after the image ...

Yes,, to both questions.... I have made a image copy of the site after I put in the code. The word "New!" is the manufacturers.

Check the code that I posted in post #13, the manufacturers_name is after the products_image and before the products_name ...

when I put the code in all I got is just the header not the whole website. Check it:

You have put the code in incorrectly then ...

Check the directory:
/cache

to see what the debug log reads ...

Ok, I got it working now.... One more question I know this is in the Stylesheet how can I make the manufaturer "New!" from black font to a red font?

Maybe once you have it working on your site someone else could help you with the designing if you are unable ...
