USPS Module - Rates Calculate but doesn't show in "Available Shipping Methods" table

FYI Start

• Using USPS module: USPS V15 Ratev4 2013_0127 R2013_0422
• I have the USPS module in "Debug mode=screen"
• I believe I have the "Zones" configured correctly.
• I BELIEVE I have the USPS module configured correctly, since it looks like it's calculating rates and I have the "Web Tool User ID" entered and I phoned the USPS and had them set it to "production".

The below "Debug mode results" shows in a pop-up window when I have an item in my shopping cart that's 2.22lbs and I click "estimate shipping" button to calculate USPS shipping.

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but it ?IS? figuring out the USPS shipping calculations?

If it's showing calculations then why is my table empty? (see below)

If it's showing calculations then why is my/customer's shipping rates table empty?

I hope it's some dumb/stupid blunder that I did. ( a.k.a An easy fix )

It doesn't make a lot of sense that your cart reads: Weight: 2.22lbs

and the USPS module is reading: (0 lbs, 1 oz)

What other shipping modules are installed?

I would try doing:

1 Remove USPS

2 Reload the files from a clean Download

3 Install USPS

4 Configure USPS

and see if that fixes the problem ...

If not, set the debug to Logs and test the shipping, then, look in your /logs directory and post the Log file that is being created ...

I did the above a few nights before posting this thread, then I figured that I should do a clean uninstall of the older version of USPS module and install the newer one.... with no success to fixing the problem

For some reason, the weight in the Cart is not being sent to USPS ...

If you go to Modules ... Shipping ...

what module(s) are not Red icons?

what module(s) are Green icons?

what module(s) are Yellow icons?

Do you have an URL to your site that we could perhaps test and what are the products_id that you are testing?

Above are the modules that I have and ONLY the USPS is "green", all others are "red".

Should I do something with "Zone Rates" that's above?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I apply, for example, FedEx, then there should be yellows, showing shipping options?

You have no need for the Zone Rate zones to be installed ...

This really makes no sense ...

I just am not seeing the cause of why your shipping weight is incorrect ....

Without seeing your database and code on the server I really cannot pinpoint the nature of this problem ...

Do you have any kind of add ons on your site right now?

I would compare your files, on the server, to a clean checkout of Zen Cart v1.5.1 with something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com and see if you have files that are damaged or out of date ...

Other than the shipping debug logs in the /logs directory, do you have any debug logs that might indicate a problem?

I believe all I have to modules/add-ons are:

FedEx modules
USPS
and Dropshipping Module

I believe that's it, I'm on another system so I'll check it out later.

I'll uninstall the Dropshipping add-on and test the site and if that doesn't work I'll upload the site again. I haven't done much but add product, create zones, inlcude taxes and some presentation.

How we can display both usps rates and Free shipping only for item which have "free ship" selecte

What version of Zen Cart are you using?

Do your Products have both Always Free Shipping YES as well as Product Weight set?

All products have weight for them. For some products we have selected "Yes, Always Free Shipping" in listing creation process.

and when we add such product (s) into cart shopping cart shows only "Free Shipping only" as available ship method + UPS shipping methods but does not shows usp

PS: before login shopping cart page shows only "FREE SHIPPING! (Free Shipping Only)"
after login or or entering customer details with "no account" it shows both FREE SHIPPING! (Free Shipping Only) and ups but never usps.

You would need to customize the shipping class to re-add in the Free Shipping weight in the file:
/includes/classes/shipping.php

with the code in RED:

I did that and its working now except one page.
On shopping cart page before customer login or no account customer details provided it still shows

Shipping quotes are based on the address information you selected:

After customer login or custoner details provided on no account page it shows all usps, ups and free ship method. So how I can have all shown on shopping cart page?

Another question: When page loads it automatically select USPS priority mail as shipping method, how I can make it no auto select so customer can select of their choice.
