Feedback on my site - please spare some time

Hi All,

I have built this site myself and after reading LOTS of articles and taking help from forums.
Now I want to start advertising it. but before that I want to be sure that its good enough.
I have also added descriptions that are relevant keywords, so that i get more hits.
Please spare some time and give me feedback - https://www.bambino.co.in

thanks

Re: Feedback on my site - please spare some time

There's no information on your site about where in the world you are. I assume it's India based on your currency, but customers like to have as much information as possible about sites they do business with.

I tried to create an account so I could look at your checkout process, but I'm told the postcode field must have a minimum of six characters. US zip codes are five characters.

Your Shipping and Returns page says you aren't shipping products. ???

The styling on all of your pages which contain forms (create account, contact us, etc.) is messed up - probably can be fixed in the stylesheet.

But the first thing I would do if I were you is to engage a native English-speaker to rewrite the descriptions and other text on the site. One hint - in English, punctuation marks like periods and commas are always followed by a space.

The site looks OK, but I don't buy baby products, so I can't comment on your product selection or pricing.

Your site loads very slowly here, up to ten seconds per page.

Re: Feedback on my site - please spare some time

Thanks Stevesh!
Yes the site is based in India. I will include that information in About us.
I will include a proper error message about the zip code. At present we are serving only India, and zip codes here are 6 digits long.
Yet to get the infra for shipping products. I am using the store pick-up facility.
The styling is messed up, i tried getting help on that. Don't know how to fix it. I have made lots of changes in stylesheet.css of my template. Can you tell me what could have damaged the alignment ? will look in that area. or if you have time I can attach the file.
Will work on the english. Thanks for that.

Adding this to your stylesheet will help:

label{float: left; margin: none;}

BTW, this isn't proper commenting for CSS: // this would hide the display of category description from your customers

Should be /* this would hide the display of category description from your customers*/

I wish. That's NASCAR auto racing legend David Pearson, taken around the mid-1960's. He was a hero of mine when I was a lad.

Thanks. Pearson used to smoke (Winstons, of course) during the races. There were giants in those days.

Re: Feedback on my site - please spare some time

Hi Stevesh,

I wanted to work on your suggestion of putting my info on main page. I am trying to add an image with my info on the home page, but don't know how to do that.
I had done a workaround by putting the "discounts round the year" image in the logowrapper. But now any other change I do, seems to change something else.
Also when a customer logs in, "log In", "I am done" etc tabs appear and they overlap with my logo.
Do you have some more magic that I can borrow ?

"Bambino, Save each time you buy for your little ones!" This is your title, it's better include your keywords in your title
