Cant save to define pages editor

I built it on a new server in a subfolder. version 151. The problem is I can not edit via the define pages editor. I do not know where it is saving.
I can update it via ftp. please look. Im sure it is a subfolder problem.

developers tool kit says it saving to /home/content/37/8774237/html/includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php

But it will not post through the admin

Make sure that you have a copy of that same define page in includes/languages/english/html_includes/CUSTOM_TEMPLATE/. You want to modify the one in the custom template and it should work.

Is your file and folder permissions set correct? If yes, then another way to see what is happening is try swtiching to the classic template and see if it works.

turns out the pure_blue template is NOT listed for templates in the admin. By switching to CLASSIC i blew up the site. Please help me to get the pure_blue template BACK into the site.

If you go to admin-tools-tempate selection, that is where you would switch templates. What do you see listed as options in the dropdown? Your pure_blule template should show there as switching templates would not delete it from your database.

Okay first let me say that the pure_blue template is coming from the site 12leaves. Couple of questions:

1. What other options are in the selection for templates?

2. But on to the more curious question, did you ever at one point download and install the pure blue template? Or did you merge the code with an existing template? Better yet, by going to includes/templates/... What is in that folder which will include a folder called classic and template_default.

You have me very curious on what is going on. I checked your site in google cache and the view source is showing that it was pulling all info out of the "pure_blue" template. However, it is odd that none of the 5 selections make reference to "pure_blue".

I am not familiar with 12leaves and their templates as how they do their coding. But try going to the developer toolkit and in the bottom search box search for "pure_blue" without quotes. Check both css and php files and does anything show in the results?

in the includes/templates/pure_blue/ folder their is a file called template_info.php. Check inside that and the template name variable should be "pure blue". Do you see it?

From everything here I really do not know where the 4 strype templates are coming from. This part has me confused as it shouldn't be in your admin selection. The only thing I can think of is 2 things:

1. Do you recall ever uploading or testing out those strype templates in the past?
2. Do you only have a live site or also a development site in a subfolder?

If you do have a subfolder test site, check the includes/templates/ and see what list of templates are showing there. I am hoping you see the 4 strype subfolders along side the classic folder.
