eMail Marketing Custmoer List with Product Purchased

Harvesting data for target marketing effort hits dead-end; many attempt have been made to capture customer data to include email addresses and product(s) purchased. This information would allow me to sort for specific product type. . .say "women's work boots" and to upload my list, I am currently using MailChimp for my marketing campaigns. This would be a powerful target marketing tool; has anyone found the way and means ito accomplishing this?

Correction "Not Products Purchased"

The objective would be to download "Customer Email" addresses and the "Vendor Name" this would allow for a more focused marketing approach . . . not just womens boot, but the vendor specific. The marketing campaign would be to those customers who bought, say, "John Deere" boots.

And of course explicitly agreed to receive marketing mails.

Yes it's possible. The data you seek is contained in various database tables, so you'd need to write your own custom database query to retrieve it.

orders table contains customer email
orders_products table contains what products were purchased, links to product id
products table contains the manufacturer id
manufacturers table contains manufacturer name

You could use the Email Address Exporter plugin as a base for providing a custom exporter that can be run from the Admin to grab a CSV of the output.
