RIP Andrew Berezin aka a_berezin

To my great regret, our colleague and excellent programmer Andrew Berezin died at the beginning of this year. We all will miss him very much. Andrey has done a lot of work on the russification and popularization Zen Cart in Russia, and also has written many excellent modules for integrating various services.

I have been acquainted with Andrey for more than 10 years and am grateful to him for the fact that he always helped me solve those problems that I could not solv with myself.

Last year, Andrew and I began a large project to create a Russian assembly based on Zen Cart 1.5.5f using a variety of additional modules and a template with an adaptive design from Template Monster.

In fact, this work was completed, for which many thanks to Andrew, but there were some issues related to debugging the work of the template.

At the moment, I need the help of a qualified programmer who knows well Zen Cart and is able to debug the work of the existing assembly, and then update the existing projects that run on the previous version of Zen Cart 1.3.9h.

Taking the fact that the server has not been updated for a long time with the support of the old Zen Cart 1.3.9h assembly, experience of system administration is required to update the server and install current software versions.

Andrew will be missed. His contributions (like Sitemap XML and Convert db2utf8) spanned many, many releases of Zen Cart and provided valuable tools to store owners.

Also want to say condolences to his family. Didn't know that he was the author sitemapxml, a module that I've been using for many years, but never gave me issues, so I actually never check the thread that much.
